We all know how important trips with our girlfriends are, for sanity’s sake. In this crazy, fast-paced life, they guarantee lots of much-needed amusement, deep conversations and wonderful memories. And there is nothing quite like discovering a new city with your best friends! Well, this is precisely what my girlfriends and I did when we flew to Copenhagen together...

Quick fact: this country is SUPER untouristy (no, really, I’m kind of an enigma to many!)... but with all that Bangladesh has to offer, this can change. In fact, this SHOULD change. The lush green banana trees and rice fields are something you’ve got to see. Those absolutely regal sarees? You definitely need to try them on at least once. Oh, not to mention that Bangladesh is home to the largest mangrove forest in the world, home to the elusive Bengali tiger, and also boasts the longest beach. You know what Bangladesh has reminded me of? That it takes nothing, absolutely nothing, to be kind. Sure, there are huge issues plaguing this wonderful nation, but the kindness and resilience and warmth of Bangladeshis is almost tangible. Vlieland, Vlieland, Vlieland...in this crazy, chaotic world, how is such a place still in existence? This is what true and total serenity must be. Just a single charming village on the island, utter peace, the cleanest air, and impressive goals such as attaining energy independence by 2020... UNREAL.
